Stuart Green is Head of Medical Physics at the University Hospital of Birmingham and an active researcher in the School of Physics and Astronomy. Stuart has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on various aspects of radiation measurement and boron neutron capture therapy. He has received major grants from the EPSRC and Cancer Research UK. Stuart's pioneering research has enabled Boron Neutron Capture Therapy to become a viable treatment option for the most aggressive cancers. He is a regular speaker on physics-based approaches to cancer treatment, including BNCT and proton and ion radiotherapy. He recently completed a two-year term as President of the British Institute of Radiology.
