“HR Excellence in Research” Award for National Centre for Nuclear Research
NCBJ: 5 Years with the Prestigious "HR Excellence in Research" Award
We are proud to announce that for five years now, the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) has been part of an elite group of research institutions honored with the prestigious “HR Excellence in Research” award.
Our priority is the implementation of values outlined in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. These key principles form the foundation of NCBJ's operations, ensuring transparent working conditions, job stability, and ample opportunities for professional development for our researchers.
A Leader in Researcher Strategy
With the “HR Excellence” distinction, NCBJ is recognized as one of the institutions adhering to the guidelines of the HR Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). The European Commission not only supports organizations implementing the Charter and Code but also promotes them within the international research community as role models.
The European Commission’s discussion panels and events serve as platforms for sharing experiences and setting directions for future development. Through the Euraxess portal, researchers gain access to various tools to support career development: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/.
We take pride in contributing to the creation of a friendly, supportive, and innovative work environment that attracts outstanding researchers from around the globe!
Plans for the Future
To maintain the right to use this prestigious distinction, NCBJ submitted a Periodic Review and an Action Plan for 2025–2027 to the European Commission in November 2024.
These documents reaffirm our commitment to continuously improving working standards for researchers and research-technical specialists. Our efforts focus not only on enhancing recruitment procedures to attract the best scientific talent but also on other initiatives aimed at creating the best possible workplace.
It is worth emphasizing that the “HR Excellence in Research” award is not granted permanently. Institutions holding this title are regularly evaluated to ensure their compliance with the standards set by the European Commission.
