The National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) is inviting applications for a position:
Data Analysis Specialist in the LHCb Experiment
Localization: Warsaw, Pasteura
Description of tasks:
- Data production and high-level analysis of data collected in Run-3 of the LHCb experiment at CERN. The analysis concerns search for exotic hadronic states in final states of decays of beauty B mesons with charmonium resonances and additional mesons, both strange and non-strange. The result should consist of a conclusion or quantitative limits on existence of resonances with exotic quark compositions, and te analysis note and publications at least in the internal reviewing process in the LHCb Collaboration.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. in experimental high-energy physics or IT technologies.
