NOMRad 2024 - Review of the latest developments in radiopharmaceutical research

27-06-2024

The International Radiopharmaceutical Conference NOMRad 2024 is taking place in Warsaw, organized by the NOMATEN Center of Excellence operating in Świerk as part of the National Centre for Nuclear Research. The presentations are focused on four topics: production and separation of radionuclides, radiopharmaceuticals, isotope labeling and biomolecules, and clinical trials. Additionally, a session for industry and presentations by PhD students are planned.

The conference is a place where participants can meet, discuss and present their recent research discoveries in the field of radionuclides production, development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and their pre- and clinical evaluation. Plenary and poster sessions give the opportunity to network, connect, and build a diverse community, especially to young scientists, with other researchers across disciplines.

On the last day of the Conference is planned visit to the Research Reactor Maria involved in the production of many radioisotopes for medical and industrial application, as well as Centre for Design and Synthesis of Molecularly Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals (CERAD) with its newly installed cyclotron. Both facilities are located at the National Centre for Nuclear Research in Otwock-Świerk.
