At the National Centre for Nuclear Research, 7 Andrzeja Sołtana St., 05-400 Otwock, a project is carried out, entitled:
"Experiments carried out in the GSI-FAIR laboratory on the FRS mass separator and the Ion Catcher ion trap",
heavy ion research programme at GSI-FAIR (Darmstadt) on the basis of an agreement concluded with the Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research (GSI) Cooperation Agreement on Experiments at the FRS Facility, Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research (GSI).

The project has been funded by the international programme of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education entitled PMW, contract dated 29.07.2022, no. 5237/GSI-FAIR/2022/0, in the amount of 458819 PLN.

The project is headed by Prof. Dr. Zygmunt Patyk and concerns the measurement of masses, the study of isomeric states of atomic nuclei and nuclear reactions leading to nuclei far from the stability path at GSI-FAIR (Darmstadt).
