What do we specialise in?

The NCBJ Software Engineering Division (UZ2) deals with the development of algorithms and scientific software requiring high computing power. The work of the division is mainly directed at the development and maintenance of software dedicated to the existing supercomputer at NCBJ (Świerk Computing Centre). The solutions developed include issues of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), High Performace Computing (HPC), Cloud Computing and the development of SaaS and PaaS services. The Division conducts scientific and technical activities in these fields. The Division's staff are involved in multidisciplinary research projects, particularly in applications in medical diagnostics.

The Department is headed by Konrad Klimaszewski, PhD.
