Delegation of the Chinese National Energy Administration (NAE) headed by Mr. Liu Baohua, Deputy Director for Electricity and Nuclear Power, visited Świerk on November 6. The guests met with NCBJ management, were briefed by professor Krzysztof Kurek, NCBJ Director General, on NCBJ current operations and growth perspectives, visited the Maria research reactor and the Accelerating Structure Lab.

NAE is generally responsible for national power system in China. In particular its competences include nuclear power sector management, development and implementation of relevant technical recommendations/standards, selection of sites for future nuclear power facilities, audit/evaluation of projects, organization/coordination/management of research on nuclear power systems, procedures to prevent/cope with nuclear accidents, crisis management system.
