Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum 2026 – energy for a resilient society
24-02-2026
In just one month, the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum will take place, where experts from the Baltic Sea region and Central Europe will meet again to share their experiences related to the development of nuclear energy. The event is held under the patronage of the National Centre for Nuclear Research.
Representatives of public administration, industry, international institutions and the scientific community will meet in Gdańsk for the third time. Discussions at the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum will focus on experiences in the development of nuclear energy.
The #BNEF conference will address topics such as nuclear technologies, sustainable financing models and international cooperation that can strengthen the foundations of the European energy system. Another important topic will be the role of nuclear energy in the national energy mix, including an analysis of other countries' experiences and the challenges associated with the development of the Polish value chain.
The discussion panels will be attended by leaders of global nuclear organisations, as well as experts and representatives of companies involved in the development of the sector in Poland and the region. The event organisers have also prepared specialist workshops where international experts will share their experiences on quality management systems, nuclear safety culture and waste management.
BNEF is a space where energy, technology and international cooperation come together to build a resilient, secure and modern European energy sector.
The Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum is co-organised by Biznes dla Klimatu, Fahrenheit Universities and UN Global Compact Network Poland.
