On 12 March, we welcomed representatives from the Central Institute of Mining – National Research Institute to the National Centre for Nuclear Research. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss new areas of cooperation between the Institutes. The guests also visited the Department of Nuclear Equipment HITEC and the MARIA research reactor.

Among the guests was, among others, the Director of GIG-PIB, Mr Jarosław Zagórowski. The team met with the Director of NCBJ, Prof. Jakub Kupecki. The Head of the Institute outlined our organisation’s activities and research capabilities. The meeting was also attended by NCBJ scientists who had previously collaborated with researchers from GIG-PIB.
