On March 31, as part of the “March in High Heels” campaign, the “Women with Energy” seminar was held at the Marshal’s Office in Gdańsk, with the participation of dr Agnieszka Boettcher from the National Centre for Nuclear Research.
 

The seminar was organized by the Regional Employment Office in Gdańsk, and the event was hosted by Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The seminar participants discussed women’s careers in the energy industry and career opportunities for women in this sector.
The event was moderated by Anna Błażewicz-Stasiak, Deputy Director of the Pomeranian Regional Planning Office.

The event program included:

• an expert presentation – “The Present and the Future: A Portrait of Women in the Nuclear Energy Sector” by dr Sylwia Mrozowska, Professor at the University of Gdańsk and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdańsk,
• a discussion with representatives of the nuclear energy sector: “Women’s Career Paths in the Nuclear Industry”
  Emilia Janisz – Chair of the Board of Women in Nuclear Poland,
  Ewelina Pomianowska – Polish Atomic Energy Agency,
  Dorota Chandavoine – Polish Nuclear Power Plants – Head of Stakeholder Relations,
  Agnieszka Świniarska-Chabros – Senior PMO Manager – Amentum, WiN Poland.
