Who are we?
The Świerk Computing Centre (CIŚ) is one of the largest supercomputer centers in Poland. Our infrastructure not only supports “Maria”, the only nuclear reactor in Poland, it is also utilized to crunch data collected by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the European XFEL
(free electron laser). We are a young team of enthusiasts working with cutting edge Technology to create novel IT solutions that can cope with analysis of huge data sets. At our core we are a research institute which translates to a creative atmosphere and personal
development possibilities.
Some examples of our projects are:
- AI4GUM - using unsupervised learning approach to extraction of data from computer tomography images
- EuroCC & WAMA EDIH - promotion of results of research and commercialization of research in area of AI and supercomputing
- PraceLab2 - Cooperation in the field of advanced computing in Europe - Cooperation in the field of advanced computing in Europe, incl. developing of the Big Data & Artificial Intelligence laboratory
- Sentinel & AIPICH - Research on developing Deep Learning and similar solutions for detection of security issues Ethernet Networks (incl. in Industrial/OT) used to control Critical Infrastructure like for example nuclear reactors.
- Many projects using of AI on area of images analysis, computer vision, cybersecurity
Who are we looking for?
Join us to participate in our latest Artifical Inteligence & Big Date research projects.
We are looking for researcher, developers with experience in Artifical Inteligence, Machine Learning, administration and automatization in Linux environment and graduate of engineering, technical, mathematics and science graduates with a strong foundation of programming knowledge who want to start to develop themselves in above areas. We will work with manage High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure for Big Date, Artifical Inteligence and distributed Machine Learning applications and the development of novel Deep Learning models.
Possible Role and Responsibilities:
- provide research in area of distributed Deep Learning and Big Date solutions, especially in unsupervised learning and computer vision
- developing automated deployment and management of HPC applications of area Deep Learning and Big Data
- developing new features for established CIŚ software and AI solutions
Requirements
- at least 3-5 years experience in IT
- at least 1-3 year of experience in one of main AI/ML frameworks TensorFlow or PyTorch
- experience in few of Keras, scikit-learn, scipy/numpy, pandas
- at least on year strong experience in computer vision and unsupervised learning
- knowledge and experience in C/C++ languages
- knowledge of Linux
- good knowledge of Python3
- good theoretical basis - understanding how tools work under the hood
- familiarity with good programming practices and design patterns
- versatile, flexible developers
- passion and thirst for knowledge
We appreciate:
- experience with a number of machine learning and scientific toolkits: Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, scipy/numpy, pandas, Jupyter
- good knowledge of script programming in Python and bash
- experience in GPGPU computing
- experience with management of CI/CD systems (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Travis-CI)
- practical knowledge of virtualisation and containerisation technologies (e.g. KVM, Docker, Kubernetes)
- experience in work in HPC environment
- versatile flexible developers
- passion and thirst for knowledge
- contribution to open source projects
- sharing knowledge culture
- xperience in Linux system administration
- practical knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible)
