Last week, the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) was visited by a delegation of representatives from the Wielkopolska Region, led by Jacek Bogusławski, as well as members of the Wielkopolska Council for Nuclear Energy, representing the Poznań University of Technology, the Poznań University of Life Sciences, the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
The purpose of the visit was to establish cooperation between the NCBJ and universities in Wielkopolska, as well as other entities, in areas such as research projects, research and development, and the training of personnel specializing in nuclear energy.
Dr. Marcin Kardas, Director of Innovation and Commercialisation at NCBJ, introduced the Institute’s mission and key research projects to the meeting participants. Next, our guests had the opportunity to see firsthand the research being conducted at the Materials Research Laboratory, the Department of Nuclear Equipment, the Dosimetry Measurements Laboratory, and the MARIA research reactor.
Meetings like these allow us to bridge the gap between science, business, and government. The advancement of innovation is made possible through the collaboration of these crucial institutions.
