Mrs Maria Zielińska worked at the Department of Particle Acceleration Physics and Technology from 1975 for over 30 years. Disciplined, very well organised, punctual, committed to her work, she managed the secretariat very well. Thanks to her professionalism, she prepared very well from the financial and formal side the projects in which the Department was involved. She was effective in dealing with the often complicated official matters concerning the activities of the Establishment. She willingly assisted staff in the technical preparation of presentations and texts for publication.

She was always friendly towards her colleagues and participated in the social life of the Department with her usual cheerfulness. It was to her that we owed the beautifully organised Easter and Christmas gatherings. She was very fond of travelling and always shared her impressions upon return, which she carefully documented with photographs, maps and folders. We will always appreciate her commitment and professionalism in her work and warmly remember her kindness to us.
