It is with deep regret that we announce that on 30 September 2023

died at the age of 100

Dr Tadeusz Wójcik

of great merit for the development of nuclear power in Poland,

negotiator of the EWA reactor purchase in 1956,

Scientific Secretary of the Nuclear Research Institute in the years 1965-1970,

Adviser to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna from 1971,
and since 1980 Head of his Cabinet,

Adviser to the Chairman of the State Atomic Energy Agency in 1992-2009,

President of the Polish Nucleonic Society from 1997-1998

and President of the Association of Ecologists for Nuclear Energy in 2011-2012.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday, 4 October at 3pm in Pilzno.
