We regret to announce the death of Professor Zbigniew Moroz, a long-standing employee of the Institute of Nuclear Research and the Institute of Nuclear Problems. He died on 22 July 2022.

He passed away an outstanding physicist with enormous scientific achievements, a specialist in the field of nuclear reactions using polarised beams of heavy ions.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on 29 July 2022 at 09:00 at the Karol Boromeusz Church in Powązki, followed by an escort to the grave in Stare Powązki.
