It is with deep regret that we inform you that on 18 January 2021, at the age of 92, the late Prof. Stanisław Kuliński, a valued expert in the construction of linear accelerators, long-standing head of the Department of Physics and Technology of Particle Accelerators at the Institute of Nuclear Problems, a teacher of many generations of physicists, passed away.
Professor Kuliński was born on 8.10.1928, and received the title of professor of physics on 15.04.1998. He worked at the Nuclear Research Institute (IBJ), then the IPJ, from 01.11.1957 to 28.02.2002, in the following positions: assistant researcher, senior assistant, assistant professor, laboratory manager, laboratory manager, assistant professor, and professor. From 1970 to 1973, he was head of the Independent Laboratory of the Linear Proton Accelerator and from 1973 to 1984, head of the Department of Physics and Technology of Particle Acceleration (01.06.1973 - 31.10.1984). In addition, he was head of laboratories and research topics.
