Adianano is synthesising nanomaterials, namely nanosilicon and graphene, to significantly improve the capacity of lithium-ion batteries. The company can create the composite material by a one-step production method with a homogeneous distribution of nanosilicon particles in graphene layers.

The biotechnology company BACTrem Sp. z o.o., founded in 2015, originates from the University of Warsaw and uses useful (functional) microorganisms to clean the environment. The company's founder and president is Professor Magdalena Popowska. The company responds to the needs of the environment and pro-ecological agriculture by creating new specialised biopreparations with targeted action as well as developing innovative biotechnological solutions. It also has a wide range of microbiological tests. It produces customised proprietary biopreparations for the removal of contaminants from soil and water or the treatment of waste. The company also specialises in solving non-standard research problems and conducting R&D work. Among others, it has developed and implemented technologies for the treatment of: creosote-impregnated wood waste, sludge containing hazardous substances and digested waste.

Between 2021 and 2023, the company led a project entitled: 'Optimisation of the treatment technology for creosote-impregnated wood waste using integrated chemical-biological-physical methods'. The project consisted of optimising a previously developed technology for treating wood waste so that the variable costs were significantly lower. The project received public funding under Sub-Action 1.1.1 of the Operational Programme Intelligent Development 2014-2020, which was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The National Centre for Research and Development was the intermediary institution. The total cost of the project is PLN 2,819,250.00.

Measures to protect the environment through the creation of innovations have been recognised by, among others, the chapter of the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, which awarded the company the top prize, the Green Eagle, in 2022.

Bio System is engaged in the harvesting of plant biomass from large-scale grasslands.

Dry biomass is collected in the form of bales and processed in the process of pressing into briquette or pellet .

Among other things, the company has developed and manufactures an electronic system for the acquisition and automatic analysis of gamma-ray spectrometric data, which, through the use of Machine Learning and algorithms that decompose so-called pile-ups, makes it possible to determine the concentration of elements in heterogeneous material in real time.
